Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the milk and mix well.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend this into the creamed mixture.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Baking
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Check with a toothpick to ensure it comes out clean.
- Let it cool before frosting or serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, they can be frozen for up to three months. Allow to come to room temperature before serving.
