Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 4 cups All-purpose flour Provides structure and softness.
  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast Helps dough rise.
  • 1 cup Milk Warm slightly to activate yeast.
  • 1/2 cup Butter Used in dough for a buttery taste.
  • 1/3 cup Sugar Sweetens the dough.
  • 2 large Eggs Binds ingredients and adds tenderness.
Filling Ingredients
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries Can substitute with frozen or jam.
  • 1/4 cup Sugar For the filling.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Enhances flavor.
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon Adds warmth and depth.
Frosting Ingredients
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Used in icing for richness.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Sweetens the frosting.
  • 1 tablespoon Milk To achieve desired consistency.

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl and let it sit until foamy.
  2. Add eggs, melted butter, and gradually mix in flour and salt.
  3. Knead dough until smooth, then cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours or until doubled in size.
Make the Strawberry Filling
  1. Cook chopped strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until thick and jammy. Let it cool completely.
Roll, Fill, Slice, and Proof Again
  1. Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the strawberry filling evenly, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  2. Roll dough tightly from the long side, slice into 10–12 rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
  3. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes.
Bake and Frost
  1. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. While warm, top with cream cheese frosting.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer storage. Freeze rolls before or after baking for later use.
