Method
Prepare the Dough
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl and let it sit until foamy.
- Add eggs, melted butter, and gradually mix in flour and salt.
- Knead dough until smooth, then cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours or until doubled in size.
Make the Strawberry Filling
- Cook chopped strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until thick and jammy. Let it cool completely.
Roll, Fill, Slice, and Proof Again
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the strawberry filling evenly, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Roll dough tightly from the long side, slice into 10–12 rolls, and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes.
Bake and Frost
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While warm, top with cream cheese frosting.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer storage. Freeze rolls before or after baking for later use.
