Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box stuffing mix (such as Stove Top) (6 oz)
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  4. Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the chicken. Pour the soup mixture over the stuffing, ensuring it covers everything. If using frozen vegetables, sprinkle them over the top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).
Serving
  1. Gently fluff the stuffing with a fork and serve warm. This dish pairs well with a side of mashed potatoes, green beans, or cranberry sauce for a complete meal.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for more flavor, add vegetables for extra nutrition, or make it cheesy with shredded cheddar or Parmesan. For a crispy topping, transfer the stuffing to a baking dish and broil for 3–5 minutes.
