  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup whey protein isolate (chocolate flavored)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt for added protein
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup as a natural sweetener
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
Optional Topping
  • Dark chocolate chips or nuts for topping, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together oat flour, cocoa powder, whey protein isolate, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix almond butter, Greek yogurt, honey, and almond milk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle the top with dark chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
Baking
  1. Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
