- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, cold milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the instant pudding mix to the bowl and continue whisking for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens. Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully set.
- Gently fold the thawed Cool Whip into the pudding mixture until smooth and fluffy. Be careful not to overmix.
- Your frosting is now ready to use! Spread it over your favorite desserts or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Notes
For best results, refrigerate the frosting for about 15–30 minutes before spreading. Flavor variations can be achieved by adding almond extract or a pinch of cinnamon.
