Preparation
- Place the Oreo cookies into a thick freezer bag and gently pound with a rolling pin until crushed.
- Add the milk to a blender, followed by the ice cream and Oreo crumbs.
- Pulse a few times, then blend until smooth. Add the vanilla extract, if using.
- Adjust the shake with more milk, if needed.
Serving
- Pour the milkshake into two glasses.
- Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream, drizzle chocolate syrup over the whipped cream, and add a whole Oreo for garnish.
- Serve immediately with a straw and a spoon.
Notes
For an extra thick milkshake, use less milk. If desired, leave some Oreo pieces unblended for added crunch. Customize the milkshake by adding ingredients like peanut butter or mint extract.
