  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced Use thinly sliced chicken for quicker cooking.
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded Feel free to add other low-carb vegetables.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari Adjust to taste for saltiness.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For sautéing.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Sauté carefully to avoid burning.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced Adds great flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the cabbage and cook until it wilts, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

This dish can be served alone or paired with cauliflower rice for a heartier meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
