- In another bowl, combine ground meat, diced vegetables, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Roll out the rested dough and cut it into small circles.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each circle and fold over to seal, pinching the edges together.
Cooking
- To cook, you can steam, boil, or pan-fry the dumplings until cooked through.
- Optionally, serve with a sauce made from soy sauce and a splash of vinegar.
Notes
Ensure your dough is well-kneaded for better texture. Don't overfill the dumplings; a teaspoon of filling is usually sufficient. Experiment with different protein and vegetable combinations for diverse flavors. For a unique twist, try adding a touch of ginger to the filling.
