Preparation
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Split the croissants in half and set aside.
- Form the ground beef into 4 equal balls, season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Place the beef balls on the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula to create patties.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, adding cheese during the last minute if desired.
- Toast the inside of the croissants on the skillet briefly until golden brown.
Assembly
- Assemble the burger by placing the patty on the bottom half of the croissant, adding your favorite toppings, and covering with the top half.
Notes
For storing leftovers, keep assembled burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in a skillet or microwave. Experiment with different toppings such as caramelized onions or jalapeƱos for added flavor.
