  • 2 cups macaroni pasta Any similar-sized pasta can be used.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Feel free to substitute with other sauces, such as pesto or Alfredo.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Can substitute with ricotta cheese or sour cream.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Use your preferred cheese.
  • 1/2 cup milk Add more milk when reheating for creaminess.
Seasoning and Garnish
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Fresh basil or parsley for garnish Add for additional flavor and presentation.

Method
 

Cooking Pasta
  1. Cook the macaroni pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, combine the marinara sauce and cream cheese over medium heat. Stir until the cream cheese has melted and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and mix well to combine.
  3. Pour in the milk and add shredded cheese, stirring until everything is well combined and heated through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
  2. Serve hot, straight from the skillet.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of milk to revive the creaminess.
