Cooking Pasta
- Cook the macaroni pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- In the same skillet, combine the marinara sauce and cream cheese over medium heat. Stir until the cream cheese has melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and mix well to combine.
- Pour in the milk and add shredded cheese, stirring until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnishing and Serving
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
- Serve hot, straight from the skillet.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of milk to revive the creaminess.
