  • 4 slices cheddar cheese You can experiment with other cheeses like American or pepper jack.
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and crispy) Crispy bacon adds flavor and texture.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix The key ingredient for flavor.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Use soft and slightly toasted buns.
Ranch Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Base for the creamy ranch sauce.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Adds tanginess to the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Enhances sauce flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet or bake it in the oven until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
  2. Mix ground beef with ranch seasoning in a large bowl. Combine evenly.
  3. Form the beef mixture into four equal patties, making a small indentation in the center.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
  2. Whisk together mayo, sour cream, garlic, and ranch seasoning to make the sauce.
  3. Lightly toast the hamburger buns on a grill or in a toaster.
Assembly
  1. Spread ranch sauce on the bottom of each bun, add a beef patty, then crispy bacon and any additional toppings.
  2. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.

Notes

Use 80/20 ground beef for juicy patties. Don’t overmix the meat, and toast the buns for best texture.
