Preparation
- Cook the bacon in a skillet or bake it in the oven until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
- Mix ground beef with ranch seasoning in a large bowl. Combine evenly.
- Form the beef mixture into four equal patties, making a small indentation in the center.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
- Whisk together mayo, sour cream, garlic, and ranch seasoning to make the sauce.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns on a grill or in a toaster.
Assembly
- Spread ranch sauce on the bottom of each bun, add a beef patty, then crispy bacon and any additional toppings.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
Notes
Use 80/20 ground beef for juicy patties. Don’t overmix the meat, and toast the buns for best texture.
