  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup Optional, for sweetness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Optional for a spicy kick.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1-2 slices fresh ginger Optional for an extra boost.
  • Ice cubes Optional, for serving.
Vegetables
  • 2 cups colorful vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, zucchini, tomatoes) Chopped.
Protein
  • 1 lb lean protein (chicken or turkey) Cubed.
Beans
  • 1 can black beans Drained and rinsed.
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by heating 1 cup of water until it’s warm but not boiling.
  2. In your glass, combine 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Stir gently.
  3. If desired, add honey or agave syrup and ground cinnamon and stir in. Optionally, add fresh ginger slices.
Cooking
  1. In a large pan, sauté cubed chicken or turkey until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add chopped vegetables and cook until tender.
  3. Stir in black beans, ground cumin, paprika, and garlic. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Combine the prepared drink with the cooked ingredients to enhance the flavor.
Serving
  1. Serve over a bed of quinoa or brown rice, garnished with freshly chopped cilantro or parsley.
