Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings Fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon oil For coating
Seasoning Mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce Options
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Optional, for buffalo-flavored wings
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Optional, for BBQ-flavored wings
  • 1/2 cup honey garlic glaze Optional, for a sticky sweet option

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with oil and the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
Cooking
  1. Cook the wings for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even crispiness.
  2. Check that the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (75°C).
Saucing (if desired)
  1. If using sauce, toss the wings in your desired sauce while they are still hot.
  2. Return to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes to help the sauce caramelize.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, you can cook them a few minutes longer. If using frozen wings, extend the cooking time to about 30 to 35 minutes, and soften them slightly before seasoning if they are frozen in a block.
