Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with oil and the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
Cooking
- Cook the wings for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even crispiness.
- Check that the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165°F (75°C).
Saucing (if desired)
- If using sauce, toss the wings in your desired sauce while they are still hot.
- Return to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes to help the sauce caramelize.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, you can cook them a few minutes longer. If using frozen wings, extend the cooking time to about 30 to 35 minutes, and soften them slightly before seasoning if they are frozen in a block.
