Preparation
- Slice the beef thinly, about ¼ inch thick, and cutting against the grain.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and ensure each piece is fully coated.
- Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°F (71°C).
- Arrange the marinated beef strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 160°F for 2 to 3 hours, checking every 30 minutes and flipping halfway through.
- Let the jerky cool to room temperature before storing.
Notes
Store in an airtight container or resealable bag for 1–2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
