Preparation
  1. Peel the onion and cut it into quarters.
Cooking
  1. In a pot, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion quarters to the pot, seasoning them with salt and Cajun seasoning.
  3. Cover the pot and let the onions cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender and flavorful.
