Ingredients:
2 large potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp chili powder (optional, for spice)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Wooden skewers
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Insert a wooden skewer lengthwise through each potato.
Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the potato in a spiral, turning as you slice (or use a spiral cutter for easy slicing).
Gently stretch the potato along the skewer to create space between the slices.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili powder.
Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over the potatoes.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
